Introduction  
IPI is a non-profit making, non-partisn, non-religious and non-governmental institution formed in 2001 to promote enhanced participation by all Malawians in  the processes of political/ economic/ social decisional making at all levels, within a fully participatory democratic framework.

Vision
An egalitarian society - free from the shackles of ignorance, fear, poverty and injustice.

Mission
To facilitate the evolution of a participatory democracy that upholds the cardinal values of equality and justice-nationally and internationally.
