I and my family were attacked by armed criminals on the night of Tuesday, 22nd Sept 09, at 2.00 am. They broke into my house, tied me up and proceeded to ransack the house. They took everything of value - cell phones, laptops, decoders, money, jewellery etc., but in addition they physically attacked and traumatised us. On 1st October, Mr. Firoz Lambat's house in Mudi in Limbe was broken into but the owner woke up and shot in the air
when appx 15 thugs ran away and the watchman was found killed.
On Friday the 9th October, Mr. Bhanas Car was broken into and money was taken away. This happenned in broad dayllight
at the Medina Mosque during afternoon prayers with many people around.

Last week, early hours of Saturday thieves also came to my yard in Chinyonga. They broke into my Toyota Carina and stole all lenses, distributor, battery and view mirrors. I have just moved to Blantyre from Lilongwe. Same night I am told some houses in same area had similar experience. This must be an organised group.
